Estimates and Final Pricing
On-Site Quotes: While we provide rough estimates over the phone, all final prices are determined on-site. Our team will provide a no-obligation written estimate before any loading begins.
Volume Pricing: Our standard rates are based on the volume (space) your items take up in our 15-cubic-yard trucks
Heavy Load Surcharges: Materials such as concrete, brick, dirt, sod, plaster, and shingles are extremely heavy. These items are subject to specialized “bed-load” pricing or weight surcharges to cover higher disposal costs..
Payment & Appointments
Payment Due: Payment is required immediately upon completion of the job. We accept major credit cards, debit, and cash.
Arrival Windows: We book in two-hour windows. Our team will call you 15–30 minutes before arrival.
Cancellation Policy: We require 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a nominal dispatch fee.
Hazardous Materials (Items We Cannot Take)
For the safety of our crew and the environment, Junk Proz is not authorized to haul hazardous waste. This includes:
- Paints, chemicals, solvents, or motor oils.
- Asbestos, propane tanks, or creosote-treated wood.
- Bio-medical waste or radioactive materials.
If you have these items, contact your local Southern Ontario municipality for hazardous waste drop-off locations.
Customer Responsibility & Safety
Access: The customer must ensure a clear path to the items being removed.
Ownership: You represent and warrant that you have the legal right to dispose of all items designated for removal. Once items are loaded onto the Junk Proz truck, ownership transfers to Junk Proz, and items cannot be returned.
Unattended Service: If you cannot be present, you must be reachable by phone to approve the on-site estimate. Payment must be processed via credit card before the team departs the site.
Liability & Property Care
Damage Prevention: Our team is trained to navigate homes and businesses carefully. However, Junk Proz is not liable for minor incidental wear (e.g., scuffs on floors or walls) that may occur during the removal of heavy, bulky, or oversized items.
Insurance: We are fully licensed and insured. Any claims for damage must be submitted to our office in writing within 24 hours of the service completion.
Our Eco-Friendly Mission
Donation & Recycling: We reserve the right to sort all loads. We prioritize donating reusable furniture and goods to local charities.
Landfill Diversion: We strive to recycle metals, wood, and paper to keep up to 60% of collected materials out of landfills.
